2020年，COVIN-19疫情席卷全球各地,，印度政府考慮到疫情造成的企業(yè)困境和認(rèn)證周期的影響,，特別是由于封城而導(dǎo)致的無(wú)法及時(shí)完成標(biāo)準(zhǔn)版本切換的實(shí)際困難，出臺(tái)以下延緩措施：
一．針對(duì)許多IS標(biāo)準(zhǔn)更新版和增加修訂版的并行實(shí)施期限原定最晚到3月1日及之后的基礎(chǔ)上再延長(zhǎng)了90天的緩沖期,。涉及標(biāo)準(zhǔn)換版產(chǎn)品范圍覆蓋了乳膠泡沫橡膠制品,、防護(hù)頭盔、染發(fā)劑,、斷路器,、保險(xiǎn)絲、插頭,、電池等,。
其中，電子電器類產(chǎn)品涉及的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)更新主要參考以下列表：

二．BIS注冊(cè)證書續(xù)期臨時(shí)性寬限措施：
1,、針對(duì)BIS注冊(cè)證書到期日在印度政府封城期間的情況：
（1）自解封之日起30天內(nèi)遞交證書續(xù)期申請(qǐng)的，無(wú)需繳納滯納金
（2）自解封30天后的90天寬限期內(nèi)遞交續(xù)期申請(qǐng)的,，則需繳納滯納金
2,、針對(duì)BIS證書之前已到期但延遲續(xù)期的90天寬限期在印度政府封城期間的情況：
自解封之日起30天內(nèi)遞交證書續(xù)期申請(qǐng)的，需繳納滯納金,，維持證書有效性,。
