2022年8月4日，美國環(huán)保署EPA發(fā)布計算機服務器能源之星4.0版本的第一版草案，并希望各相關參與者能夠在2022年9月9日前將反饋意見發(fā)送至[email protected]。此次4.0版本第一版草案增加或更新了以下重要內容：

變更一：

在產品類型中增加了Storage Heavy Server (SHS)和Hyperconverged Server這兩個新的類別的定義，但是目前暫未將Hyperconverged Server列入需要能源之星認證的名單。

Storage Heavy Server (SHS): A computer server with greater storage capacity than a standard computer server. As shipped, these computer servers support 30 or more storage devices. These servers differ from Storage Products in that they run computer server operating systems and software stacks.

Hyperconverged Server: A highly integrated enterprise computing device which contains the same components as a computer server in additional to the features of a large network equipment device and storage product.

變更二：

更新了電源模塊的能效要求。

原3.0版本要求，所有輸出功率采用相同的能效要求：

4.0版本把電源輸出以750W為界限劃定了不同的能效要求：

更新并提高了計算機服務器的活動狀態(tài)效率閾值的要求。
